Congress has suspended party leader Navjot Kaur Sidhu, the wife of cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring announced on Monday. This comes after row over her comment that "the one who gives a suitcase of ₹500 crore becomes the Chief Minister". She later claimed her remarks were twisted.
