Navratri sales may cross ₹50,000 cr in next 10 days: Traders' body

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) on Thursday said the 10-day Navratri festivities are likely to generate business worth more than ₹50,000 crore. Festivities in Delhi alone for the next 10 days are expected to see trade of over ₹8,000 crore, it added. CAIT's data showed that the same period last year had witnessed a business of ₹35,000 crore.
