Navy begins court-martial proceedings against 2 officers over 2024 INS Brahmaputra sinking

The Indian Navy has begun court-martial proceedings against two officers for alleged lapses that led to the INS Brahmaputra partially capsizing at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai while it was undergoing repairs two years ago. One sailor died in the accident that took place on July 21, 2024. The proceedings began in Mumbai on October 12.
