Naxalism ended, NE insurgency minimal: Home Secretary

Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan said India's internal security landscape has changed irrevocably. Addressing the IPS Dikshant Parade in Hyderabad, he stated militant naxalism has conclusively ended and North East insurgency is now minimal. Homegrown terrorism has nearly ceased. He urged new IPS officers to focus on cybercrime, narcotics, and illegal immigration as emerging threats.
