Naxalite killed in encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh

A Naxalite was killed in an early morning gunfight with security forces in the dense forests of southern Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh, on Thursday. The exchange of fire began around 7:30 am, according to police officials, during an ongoing anti-Naxal operation. Security personnel have continued the search operation in the area following the encounter to ensure complete area sanitization.
