Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan accused of breaking surrogacy laws; TN govt to probe

After actress Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan announced birth of twin sons, Tamil Nadu Minister Ma Subramanian said the state government will investigate the allegations that the couple violated surrogacy rules. "According to norms, those aged 21 years and under the age of 36 can donate oocytes. We presume this could have been done that way," the minister said.
