NBA names Kalshi, Polymarket its preferred prediction markets

The NBA on Monday named Kalshi and Polymarket its preferred prediction market exchanges and signed an information-sharing pact with the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The league said the deals bar league and team staff from trading NBA contracts and limit which markets are offered. Several US states, including New York and Utah, are suing Kalshi over alleged illegal gambling.
