NCERT Class 8 book pulled out of sale after row over 'corruption in judiciary' section: Report

NCERT's new Class 8 Social Science textbook has been pulled out of sale, The Indian Express reported citing Education Ministry sources. A row had erupted over a section that mentioned "corruption in the judiciary". The Supreme Court on Wednesday took a suo motu cognisance of the matter, with CJI Surya Kant calling it "calculated and deep-rooted attack on the judiciary".
