NCERT drops French, Russian revolutions from Class IX social science textbook

NCERT has dropped chapters on the French Revolution, the Russian Revolution and the rise of Nazism from the new Class IX social science textbook. Reportedly, these chapters have now been moved to the Class X social science textbook. NCERT has instead introduced content on Mesopotamian, Egyptian and Chinese civilisations along with the Indian knowledge systems in the Class IX textbook.
