NCERT to restore clothed 'Dancing Girl' image to its original version in Class 9 book after row

A row erupted after picture of the Indus Valley Civilisation's famous 'Dancing Girl' artefact in the new NCERT Class 9 textbook showed her nude torso being shaded to give an impression that it's clothed. NCERT has now decided to restore it to its original version. The confident posture of four-inch-high 'Dancing Girl' is one of defining symbols of Harappan civilisation.
