NCLT approves Vedanta Group firm's ₹3,000 cr takeover of Videocon: Report

Bankruptcy court National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has allowed Vedanta Group firm Twin Star Technologies to takeover Videocon Industries, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday. Twin Star will pay about ₹3,000 crore to Videocon's lender, the report added. Videocon's debt stood at over ₹63,500 crore in 2019, according to bankruptcy case-related disclosures on the company's website.
