NCP to contest Karnataka polls, field at least 40 candidates

The Nationalist Congress Party has decided to fight the upcoming Karnataka elections. The party will field candidates in at least 40 Assembly constituencies, said Karnataka NCP chief Hari R. "Four to five sitting MLAs of the BJP are in touch with us to join the party. The [former] Mayor of Bengaluru may also join our party soon," Hari R added.
