Govt questions Google, Telegram on reporting child sexual abuse material

India's NCPCR met Google and Telegram representatives to question how they detect and report child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The commission will send both platforms a questionnaire on Friday, seeking written responses within 10–12 days. Companies were reminded to report such cases directly to Indian agencies, not just US-based NCMEC.
