NCW chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar said women must feel secure using app-based cabs to pursue careers without safety concerns. She stated operators must follow all safety guidelines. The NCW last month issued guidelines recommending mandatory driver verification, SOS buttons, 24x7 command centres, and time-bound grievance redressal for harassment and misconduct complaints.
