NCW launches WhatsApp number to report domestic violence amid lockdown

The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Friday launched the WhatsApp number 7217735372 for reporting domestic violence amid coronavirus lockdown. The number has been launched only for the duration of the lockdown till NCW's normal office resumes, it said. NCW had earlier reported rise in the number of domestic violence complaints since imposition of the nationwide lockdown over coronavirus.
