NCW seeks probe into sexual abuse allegations against DMK worker

National Commission for Women (NCW) took suo motu cognisance of a media report alleging sexual harassment involving a DMK worker in Tamil Nadu. NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar termed the allegations as "disturbing" and wrote to Tamil Nadu DGP demanding an immediate, impartial, and transparent investigation. The wife of the accused claimed that he forced girls to "sleep with politicians".
