NCW summons Adhir for 'Rashtrapatni' remark, asks Sonia to take action

The National Commission for Women on Thursday issued a notice to Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury to appear before it and give an explanation for calling President Droupadi Murmu 'Rashtrapatni'. The Commission also wrote to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, asking her to take appropriate action against Chowdhury for his derogatory remark.
