NDMC staff's wife put on digital arrest for 6 hours, loses ₹2 lakh

A New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) employee's wife was put on digital arrest for six hours by scamsters posing as CBI officials and was cheated of ₹2 lakh, police said. The scamsters said the woman's husband was arrested in a rape case and threatened to publicise the matter. They didn't allow her to disconnect their phone call for six hours.
