Nearly 1,200 Indians left Iran since Middle East war began: MEA
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said nearly 1,200 Indians, mostly students, left Iran since the Middle East war began. He added, "Our embassy in Tehran has facilitated movement of 1,171 [Indians], including 818 students, to exit Iran via land borders." He further said 977 Indians entered Armenia, and 194 entered Azerbaijan, while thanking both countries for their support.
