Nearly 150 Indians in B'desh jails after finishing term: Report

A Bangladeshi prison official said that among 152 foreigners, 148 Indians are stuck in prison despite completing their jail terms, a News Arena India report said. The official added that the inmates could not be released due to problems in verifying their identity and incomplete repatriation process. Most Indians were detained due to illegal cross-border entry, the official further said.
