Nearly 2 million people join Spain's open-top bus parade in Madrid after World Cup win

Nearly two million people gathered along Madrid's streets to celebrate Spain's 2026 FIFA World Cup triumph. The team returned home on Monday and met King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia and Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez before travelling to Plaza de Cibeles in an open-top bus. Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in the final to win their second World Cup title.
