Nearly 4,000 tonnes of construction waste cleared in Bengaluru in 5 days

Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) cleared nearly 2,500 tonnes of construction and demolition waste, while Bengaluru South City Corporation (BSCC) cleared nearly 1,500 tonnes during the first five days of August. The citywide cleanup is part of 'Freedom from Waste' campaign launched on August 1. BSCC said it received 637 requests for C&D waste clearance through the 'Clear It' app.
