Nearly 90 people killed in UP storms & rain as death toll rises

At least 89 people have been killed, and 53 others injured after devastating unseasonal thunderstorms, heavy rain, and lightning battered several districts of Uttar Pradesh. The death toll was earlier reported to be 33. Collapsing walls, falling trees, and intense lightning strikes triggered most of the casualties. Additionally, 114 livestock have been lost and 87 houses damaged.
