Need to make sure people don't risk their life savings: Sitharaman on stock market

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman spoke about increased speculative activities in the stock market in a recent interview. "When speculative activities are too much, there needs to be a sense of caution...We need to make sure people don't go to high-risk ventures with their life savings," she said. Sitharaman noted that SEBI and RBI have also expressed concerns regarding this issue.
