Needs urgent attention: Retd Army chief as retd officer compares Manipur with Syria

Retired Indian Army chief General Ved Prakash Malik tweeted that Manipur needs urgent attention after retired Lieutenant General L Nishikanta Singh compared the state to Libya, Lebanon, Nigeria and Syria. "The state is now 'stateless'. Life and property can be destroyed anytime by anyone," Singh tweeted. Later, Malik called it an "extraordinary sad call from a retired Lieutenant General".
