Neeraj breaches 89-m mark for 3rd time, finishes 1st at Lausanne Diamond League

Olympic gold medal-winning javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra breached the 89-metre mark for the third time in his career to finish first at Lausanne Diamond League. The 24-year-old, who was making a return to the field after having missed Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2022 due to an injury, registered a best throw of 89.08 metres on his first attempt to finish first.
