Nepal calls off search for missing trekkers after new avalanches

Rescuers in Nepal called off their search for seven missing trekkers, including 4 South Koreans and 3 Nepalis, after new avalanches in the Annapurna region. The trekkers went missing last week after being struck by an avalanche along a route to Mount Annapurna. Over 200 people, including 140 foreign hikers, evacuated from the area by the police over the weekend.
