Nepal Embassy celebrates 'Kukur Tihar', honours dogs with garlands

The Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi celebrated "Kukur Tihar", a Nepali festival to honour and celebrate dogs, on Sunday. "Kukur Tihar" is observed on the second day of the five-day Tihar festival, also known as Yamapanchak or Deepawali. Visuals from the celebrations showed dogs adorned with marigold garlands and tika, honouring them as companions and guardians.
