Nepal PM Shah, who came to power after Gen-Z protests, bans party-affiliated student bodies

Balen Shah, who became Nepal's PM after Gen-Z-led protests that toppled KP Sharma Oli's government, has abolished party-affiliated student organisations in schools and universities. A new body called Student Council/Voice of Students will be introduced to replace the existing student political bodies. Notably, Oli has been arrested over alleged failure to prevent deaths during protests last year.
