Nepal puts royal crown on display 10yrs after end of monarchy

Nepal has put the crown, sword and other valuable items used by former kings on display, ten years after the abolition of monarchy. While the crown is studded with precious stones, the sword and sceptre are made of gold. The sceptre and the crown were reportedly worn by over 11 kings, including Nepal's last king, Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev.
