Nepal rescuers blast hillsides to reach hydropower workers trapped in tunnels

Nepal rescuers are using explosives to blast through hillsides and clear mud-filled tunnels as they search for over 600 hydropower workers believed trapped after last week’s flash floods. Rescue teams are also pumping air into tunnels at Trishuli-3A site to help keep survivors alive. A BBC report said roughly one in seven missing people are believed to be hydropower workers.
