Nepal's rapper-turned-Mayor Balendra Shah to run for PM
Former rapper and Kathmandu mayor Balendra Shah has joined Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Nepal and will be party's prime ministerial candidate in upcoming March 5 elections, reported Reuters. RSP's headed by another celebrity, former TV host-turned-politician Rabi Lamichhane, who'll continue as party chief. Both Lamichhane and Shah have vowed to address demands raised during Gen-Z protests.
