Nepal students set up makeshift kitchen on streets amid gas shortage

Students in Nepal set up a makeshift kitchen outside Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus in Kathmandu to protest a severe cooking gas shortage. In a demonstration, students cooked rice and Gundruk-aloo (fermented leafy greens and potatoes) curry over firewood outside campus. "Government isn't able to make cooking gas available. Prices of daily essentials are skyrocketing," a protesting student said.
