Nepal successfully chase down a target for the first time in T20 WC history

Nepal won their T20 World Cup 2026 match against Scotland by seven wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday. Scotland posted 170-7 in their 20 overs. Dipendra Singh Airee's 50*(23) helped Nepal chase down the 171-run target in 19.2 overs. Notably, this is the first time Nepal have successfully chased down a target in the tournament's history.
