Netanyahu's rival Eisenkot secures support to be next Israel PM

Parties representing 67 of Israeli parliament's 120 elected lawmakers backed Benjamin Netanyahu's rival Gadi Eisenkot to be the country's next PM. Meanwhile, Israel's President Isaac Herzog said he will nominate a candidate he believes ​has the best chance to form a coalition on Sunday. Once nominated by Herzog, the candidate will have 28 ​days to try to forge a government.
