Netflix has announced an additional $25 billion share buyback programme. The new plan is in addition to the buyback authorised in December 2024 and has no expiration date. The announcement comes after the streaming giant's plans to acquire Warner Bros Discovery's assets failed to materialise earlier this year. Shares of Netflix rose around 1% on Thursday.
