Netflix fires employee who planned walkout in support of trans staff

Netflix has fired an employee who led its trans employee resource group and planned a walkout to protest its handling of Dave Chappelle's Netflix special that aimed jokes at trans people. The firm said the employee was fired for "sharing confidential, commercially sensitive information outside". "We understand this employee may have been motivated by disappointment...with Netflix," it added.
