Netflix fires staff months after hiring them, offers 2 weeks of severance pay

Netflix confirmed to Fortune that it has fired 25 employees from its marketing department, including 10-12 writers and editors from its in-house publication Tudum. Several of these writers tweeted that they were fired just months after being hired with the promise of more stability. A fired Netflix employee tweeted the company offered two weeks of severance pay to fired workers.
