Netflix sign-ups jump after crackdown on password sharing in US

Netflix saw a huge spike in the number of subscribers in the US in the four days after its crackdown on password sharing began there on May 23. As per research firm Antenna, average daily sign-ups rose to 73,000 during this window, marking a 102% increase over previous 60-day average. Netflix added 100,000 subscribers on both May 26 and 27.
