Netflix sues 'Bridgerton' knockoff creators for copyright infringement

Netflix on Friday sued creators of an alleged unauthorised musical stage production of 'Bridgerton', accusing them of copyright infringement after building demand for the knockoff on TikTok. The complaint was filed three days after a sold-out performance of "The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical" in Washington DC's Kennedy Centre. Netflix said it had repeatedly warned the musical's creators to stop.
