Netflix to buy Warner Bros film & streaming assets in $83-bn deal

Netflix will acquire Warner Bros Discovery's TV and film studios and streaming division for a total enterprise value of $82.7 billion (equity value of $72.0 billion). Under the agreement announced on Friday, Warner Bros shareholders will receive $27.75 a share in cash and stock in Netflix. The acquisition hands Netflix ownership of properties, including Game of Thrones and DC Universe.
