NetherRealm Studios, the developer behind Mortal Kombat and Injustice 2 has reportedly announced layoffs, particularly affecting their entire mobile team, resulting in the shutting down of Mortal Kombat: Onslaught. The game will close its operations on October 21, 2024, and will be removed from the App Store and Google Play.
