Never thought they were Muslims, RSS reached the site first: Bhagwat on 1996 plane collision

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, while speaking in US, recalled 1996 mid-air plane collision over Haryana. "Both [planes] were from Arab countries...Most of the passengers were Muslims. After that collision, our Swayamsevaks reached there first & served," he said. "[We] arranged for funeral rites when their relatives came. We never thought at that time that these were Muslims," he added.
