New 'e-nose' that can sniff & send scents over internet developed

Researchers have developed an AI-powered wearable device called Scentronic that can detect and recreate smells remotely. They created an e-nose that detects scents at one location and transmits digital data to another device, which recreates the smell. The e-nose currently recognises five smells including beer, cake, coffee, oranges and red wine. Its potential uses include online shopping.
