Over 8,987 companies facing insolvency proceedings in FY26: Report

More than 8,987 companies were facing insolvency proceedings by March 2026, a CareEdge Ratings report said. It further said 15.8% of cases were successfully resolved till March 2026, an improvement from 14.4% in March 2025. The report added that fresh admission of cases fell in FY26 to 663 corporate insolvency cases from 733 in the previous financial year.
