New Bhopal to Indore expressway will cut travel time to 2 hours

The road journey between Bhopal and Indore could soon become considerably shorter with the proposed construction of a new 160-km, six-lane greenfield expressway. Estimated to cost around ₹4,000 crore, the project will be constructed on a fresh alignment instead of widening the existing Bhopal-Indore route. Once the new expressway is completed, the travel time will be reduced to 2 hours.
