New cancellation & refund rules introduced for Vande Bharat & Amrit Bharat trains

Indian Railways has tightened cancellation and refund rules for Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains, reported ABPLive. No refund will be given if confirmed tickets for Vande Bharat Sleeper Express and Amrit Bharat II trains are cancelled within eight hours of departure. Cancellations over 72 hours before departure carry 25% charge, while those made 72–8 hours earlier attract 50% charge.
