New chameleon species, less than 1 inch long, found in Africa
Researchers have discovered a new species of chameleon in Africa in which the adult male is less than an inch long, making it the smallest known male of roughly 11,500 known non-avian reptiles, Bavarian State Collection of Zoology said. The female is longer, measuring a little over an inch. There are only two known specimens of the species, researchers said.
