New COVID antibody protects against known variants: AstraZeneca

AstraZeneca executive Iskra Reic has said its new version of COVID-19 antibody treatment could help immunocompromised patients against all known virus variants. The antibody called 'AZD3152' neutralises all known variants of COVID-19, she claimed. The firm aims to make AZD3152 available by the end of 2023. It is waiting for more positive data and regulatory approval.
