Singapore is experiencing a new wave of COVID-19, which is driven by a mix of XBB subvariants, its health ministry said. Data from the ministry showed that the number of weekly infections so far this year peaked in final week of March at over 28,000 cases. Singapore had dropped most mask mandates in February.
